
Meet the Trainers
Jeff and Becky are dedicated educators specializing in mental health and substance abuse. Their mission is to bridge knowledge and practice, delivering expert consultation and customized training programs to empower providers and improve patient outcomes. Training and staff development focuses on evidence-informed practices, holistic approaches, and supportive peer networks, offered as flexible single-day or series sessions in person or virtually.
Jeff Georgi
MDiv, MAH, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS, CGP
Jeff has over 40 years of experience in addiction treatment and maintains a private practice. He previously served as clinical director of the Duke Addictions Program, held roles in Duke’s Departments of Surgery and Obstetrics, and currently consults with Duke’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science.
Becky Georgi
MS, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS
Becky brings over 30 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment. She currently serves as an adjunct associate at Duke University’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and previously was clinical director of the Duke Adolescent Program and wellness director at Durham Academy.
Experience & Services
Jeff and Becky have extensive experience in training and staff development for addiction treatment. They collaborated with South Carolina’s DAODAS over eight years to implement a statewide initiative, standardizing clinical practice and improving outcomes through the BPSSEM and Modified Interpersonal Group Psychotherapy (MIGP). They also utilized distance learning to train clinicians at Western Arkansas Counseling & Guidance Center. Jeff offers targeted training sessions on addiction and effective treatment methods.
